Editor's Note: This is the next in a series of stories about Western Illinois University students, alumni, and community members, highlighting their experiences during our 125th anniversary celebration. We will feature 125 individuals from August 2024 to August 2025.

MACOMB, IL – Tom Rynott, a 2018 graduate of the Liberal Arts and Science program, also minored in the Recreation, Park, Tourism, and Administration program at WIU, is an active member of the WIU Community and proud to say so.

"I love the beautiful riverfront campus in Moline and it's pretty cool that Miltown Coffee is right down the street," Rynott said.

Rynott attended WIU for the RPTA program and has had a long career in the field.

"Some of my favorite memories were on the quad eating Qdoba with my fellow peers," Rynott said. "I also enjoyed my student employment in University Facilities Management."

WIU-QC stands out to Rynott as a campus that everyone should attend with lots of opportunities.
As we honor 125 years of educational excellence, we invite local WIU students to share their stories and be featured in our series. Contact University Communications at U-Communications@wiu.edu to participate.
