Career Carnival Comes to Macomb Thursday

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University is hosting a Career Carnival from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, behind the University Union.

The Career Carnival is a career fair preparation program featuring fun games to help students prepare for the Oct. 8 All-Major Career Fair. Students will be educated on how to dress, prepare a resume and develop an elevator pitch.

The event is not for employers, but rather for students to learn the dos and don'ts of career fair preparation. There will be prizes for some of the games at the event.
