MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Lindsey Ramos, a 2004 undergraduate student of the Management program at WIU reflects on WIU as a place dedicated to discipline and flexibility for all students.

"To me, being a Leatherneck means discipline and a chance to achieve goals while also working," Ramos said.

Ramos enjoyed her experience at WIU-QC, noting the non-traditional students being her favorite variety of students that she often could relate to.

She feels her career was set upon graduation.

"I got an Assistant Branch Manager position and have worked my way up throughout the years to now a Senior Vice President role," Ramos said. "WIU prepared me for leadership, team management, strategic thinking, operational management, communication skills and analytical skills. My business management degree provided a comprehensive foundation across various aspects of business. The blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills ensures that graduates are well-equipped to tackle challenges and opportunities."

She feels her time at WIU was fulfilling and enjoyed the different experiences WIU-QC brought her over a more traditional school.

"I feel you will never regret choosing WIU!" Ramos said.
