MACOMB, IL - - Victoria Leonard's time at Western Illinois University could only be described in a single word: awesome.

Leonard graduated from WIU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2013 and she looks back fondly on her time as a Leatherneck.

"It was awesome," Leonard said. "To me, being a Leatherneck means adventure and having fun experiences."

Leonard's best memories at WIU include being able to work on the move-in crew, taking part in events like Haunted Higgins and simply meeting new people around campus.

Leonard took her degree and now works in Information Technology. She credited the education she received at WIU for helping go into the workforce prepared.

"It was a great experience," Leonard said. "It was a great way to meet people and worth the money."
