MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University Facilities Management will implement a Load Shed Program whereby all larger equipment will be scheduled to reduce output or shut down for short predetermined amounts of time.

"If you notice that your space is a little warmer than usual, please be patient," Facilities Management Deputy Director Paul Perchalsk said. "If your workspace does not correct itself after the scheduled event, please contact your building representative."

The measure will occur:
3-6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26
3-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27
3-6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28

WIU Facilities Management appreciates any contribution made toward these energy conservation measures.
"These conservation measures help us get the lowest rates possible for our electrical bill. Western Illinois is proud to do our part to help manage electricity distribution in the region since we are a large consumer," Perchalsk said.

With questions or concerns, contact Work Order Control at 309-298-1834 ext. 248.
