WIU MS Student Granted IMA Conference Scholarship

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University is proud to announce that Taylor Kilgus, a student in the WIU-QC Museum Studies program, has been awarded a scholarship to attend the 2024 Iowa Museum Association (IMA) Conference in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

This year's conference theme, "Driving Connections," emphasizes the importance of networking and professional growth within the museum field. Taylor expressed her excitement about the opportunity.

"I'm thrilled to visit a new town and connect with professionals in the museum field. The IMA conference is a great chance to expand my knowledge and network," Kilgus said.

The scholarship reflects Kilgus's dedication to her studies and passion for museums. Her participation in the conference will enrich her knowledge base and bring valuable insights back to WIU.
