WIU Introduces Master of Science in Engineering Technology with Precision Agriculture Emphasis

MACOMB, IL - – Western Illinois University will launch a Master of Science in Engineering Technology program, featuring a Precision Agriculture emphasis beginning Fall 2024. This 30-semester-hour program is designed to prepare professionals with advanced knowledge and leadership skills in agricultural technology.

Applicants need a bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related or Agriculture program with at least 15 hours of technical courses. Students with fewer technical hours can enroll in a two-phase program to meet requirements.
Completion of a minimum of 30 semester hours, including core courses and directed electives, plus one of three exit options: thesis plan, professional internship plan or independent research plan.
