WIU Professor Awarded the Cecil P. McDonough Endowed Professorship in Business for 2024-2026

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL-- The College of Business and Technology at Western Illinois University has awarded the Cecil P. McDonough Endowed Professorship in Business for 2024-2026 to Professor of Human Resource Management & Organizational Behavior, Susan Stewart.

This Endowed Professorship in Business recognizes Stewart's distinguished contributions to research, teaching and service that are widely recognized nationally and internationally. The level of productivity and impact in her field of study goes well beyond the existing high expectations for full professors on campus. She is considered to be a role model for faculty and students.

WIU's Human Resource Management program has hands-on experience with local organizations that provide students with industry-recognized skills. There are also study abroad programs, professional development events, career fairs and internships that provide networking opportunities. This program also allows students to earn two degrees (bachelor's and master's) in just five years.
