MOLINE, IL— The Western Illinois University Awards & Recognition committee proudly names Ellen Poulter, academic advisor for Anthropology and Sociology, as WIU's Advisor of the Month for March.

Poulter has been honored with this recognition following a nomination by a student who was impressed with how well she adapted to her new position and has shown it who is "boss."
"She takes the time to meet with each student within the major and get to know them," her nominator said.

The nomination focused on Poulter's commitment to supporting students, whatever the goal may be.

"She does everything in her power to make sure we hit the goals we are trying to reach and does it with the patience of a saint and is an extremely wise woman," added her nominator.

This recognition showcases Poulter's impact on the academic community at WIU and her commitment to supporting and enriching the lives of students in the Anthropology and Sociology departments.
