WIU School of Computer Sciences to Host Cybersecurity Competition April 27

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Cybersecurity program will host a jeopardy-style Cyber Competition at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 27 in the University Union Heritage Room.

All WIU, local community college and high school students are invited and eligible to participate.

The competition will expose students to cyber security and allow them to showcase their knowledge of the subject to faculty, staff and current students.

Prizes will be awarded to winners in scholarships, medals/trophies, t-shirts and swag bags. Registration is required and students must be enrolled in a local high school or community college to participate. Students must register individually and teams must consist of two to four students.
