Orchestra Halloween Concert & Contest Oct. 31

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present the Annual Orchestra Halloween Concert at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The WIU Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of WIU Assistant Professor of Cello and Director of Orchestral Activities Kenny Lee, and Assistant Conductor and graduate student Xingue Liu will perform music from the popular films Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, How to Train Your Dragon and Lord of the Rings. In addition to the concert, a family-friendly costume contest and parade will take place.

This performance is open free for general audience seating. Parking is available in the semi-circle lots on the south side of Simpkins and Sherman Halls and the lots east of Seal and Tillman Halls.
