WIU School of Music Faculty Walker and Chiang to Perform Today

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present a Faculty Recital featuring Assistant Professor of trombone Jett Walker and collaborative piano coordinator Po-Chuan Chiang at 7:30 p.m. today, Oct. 16 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The duo will perform works by Sonia Ivette Morales Matos, Paul Hindemith, Richard Lieb, Jea-Michel Defaye and Anthony DiLorenzo.

The program will include:

Nostalgia - Sonia Ivette Morales Matos (1961b)

Sonata - Paul Hindemith (1895-1963)
I. Allegro moderato maestoso
II. Allegretto grazioso
III. Lied des Raufbolds (Swashbuckler's Song)
IV. Allegro moderato maestoso

Concertino Basso - Richard Lieb (1930b)

À la maniére de Stravinsky - Jean-Michel Defaye (1932b)

Serenata - Anthony DiLorenzo (1967b)
