UPI to Host Free Ice Cream Event Sept. 6

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University, in collaboration with University Professionals of Illinois, will offer free ice cream to all students, faculty and staff from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6 in front of Dividends Cafe on the Macomb campus quad.

"Do you like free ice cream? If so, stop by and say hello," said UPI Member Merrill Cole.

The University Professionals of Illinois, Local 4100, is the leading academic collective bargaining organization for seven of the 12 public universities in Illinois. It is affiliated with the Illinois Federation of Teachers, American Federation of Teachers, the Illinois American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) and the national AFL-CIO.
