Macomb Downtown Block Party

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University has partnered with the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce, Spoon River College and the Macomb School District to host the Downtown Block Party from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25 in Chandler Park, just north of the Macomb Square.

The event will offer new and existing WIU students the opportunity to learn more about the Macomb community, and enjoy fun events and get prizes.

WIU students, faculty or staff are invited to volunteer to be stationed at the WIU booth, or to assist with working the event. Visit bit.ly/3s62qUC to volunteer.

Go West will extend the Amtrak Route to allow students transportation to the Downtown Block Party. Passengers will need to get off at City Center, located at the Amtrak station, and walk across the street to Chandler Park.
