WIU Community Music School Summer Session Day Camps Planned in June

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Community Music School is now accepting registrations for Summer Session day camps to take place in June. All CMS camps, formerly known as the Summer Music Institute, will be non-residential.

Week 1 - June 5-9; 9 a.m.-noon • June 9 - Final Showcase
• Rocky's Music Camp - Ages 9-12
• Steel Band Camp - Ages 11-13

Week 2 - June 12-16; 99 a.m.-noon • June 16 - Final Showcase
• Rocky's Music Camp - Ages 9-12
• Steel Band Camp - Ages 14-18
• Vocal Camp - Ages 12-18
• Strings Camp - Ages 12-18

Week 3 - June 19-23; 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. • June 24 - Final Showcase
• Piano Camp - Ages 12-18
• Band Camp - Ages 12-18
• Jazz Camp - Ages 12-18
• Jazz + Band Camp - Ages 12-18
• Music Educator Percussion Intensive - For college students and professional music educators

Register by May 1 to receive an automatic 20 percent Early Registration Scholarship. Use the code "EARLY20" in the registration portal for eligibility.
