Free Flu Shot Clinics for WIU-Macomb Employees, Students

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – Free flu shot clinics will be held on the Western Illinois University Macomb campus throughout October and November for all students, faculty, staff and retirees. Please note additional dates have been added for the WIU-Macomb student clinics.

WIU-Macomb Clinics

Students only* (University Union Concourse):
1-3 p.m. - Wednesday, Oct. 20; Friday, Oct. 22; Wednesday, Oct. 27; and Tuesdays, Nov. 2, Nov. 9 and Nov. 16.

A clinic will also be held for students from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 in the Spencer Student Recreation Center Keeney Room.

The WIU-Macomb clinics provide opportunities for hands-on learning experiences for WIU School of Nursing students.

* Valid WIU ID required.

Employees & Retirees* only (Q-Lot drive-through/walk-up – rain location: Union Heritage Room):
8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. - Thursday, Oct. 21.
* Insurance card & valid WIU ID required.

Face coverings are required to participate. Please wear a shirt that will allow the vaccine to be administered in the upper arm. Shots will be administered as long as supplies last.

The Macomb employees/retirees clinic is also open to survivors and to employees of other state agencies who carry state health insurance. Dependents and spouses are not eligible for the shot. Retirees and survivors will be required to provide their red, white and blue Medicare card if you are enrolled in Part B coverage.
