WIU School of Music Scholarship Concert Sept. 17

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University School of Music Scholarship Concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall. Admission is free.

Seating is limited, due to COVID restrictions, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis at bit.ly/3nv6sSc. The performance will also be broadcast on the School of Music's YouTube Channel and Facebook page.

The concert includes some of the best student ensembles from the WIU School of Music, including the University Singers, the Jazz Studio Orchestra, the Wind Ensemble and the Symphony Orchestra. The concert raises money for music scholarships within the WIU School of Music.

Audience members and concert participants are encouraged to be vaccinated and off-campus visitors are encouraged to complete the University's self-check at wiu.edu/selfcheck, before arriving on campus. Face coverings must be worn by all audience members and social distancing will be maintained.
