WIU Summer Youth Program Information Released

MACOMB,IL -- Western Illinois University's Office of Study Abroad & Outreach and School of Music will offer a variety of virtual youth programs for Summer 2021.

There is a potential of additional Outreach programs. Information regarding additional programs will be added to Outreach's website as it becomes available.

This year's class list includes:

June 14-17 and 21-24, 2021, Art: Colorful Minds & Creative Hands

This two-week program is available only for students in grades 9-12. Program cost is $100.

July 12-16, 2021, WIU's STEM Camp

Class is available for students in grades 7-12. Program cost is $100.

TechVenturing Workshop, Wednesday, July 7, Grades 7-12, Time: 10 a.m. - noon and 1 - 3 p.m., Instructor: Rafael Obregon, interim chair/associate professor of engineering technology, no cost.

Art: Colorful Minds & Creative Hands - dates and times TBD, instructors: Robert Johnson (retired WIU faculty), Steve Larimer (retired Macomb High School, art teacher) and Leigh Grotts (Macomb School District art teacher), Cost: $100
