George Goehner Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Services for retired Western Illinois University Physical Plant Director George Goehner, of Waterloo, IL, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 10, at Schildknecht Funeral Home in O'Fallon, IL. A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 9 at the funeral home.
Goehner passed away Sunday, April 4.
After coming to WIU in July 1968, Goehner served as associate director of housing until 1976. He became assistant director of the physical plant in 1976 and was named director in 1984. He retired in July 1992.
Goehner is survived by one daughter, Michelle; and one granddaughter.
