Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3 at The Crossing Church in Macomb. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m.. Sunday, Oct. 2 at the Macomb Fire Department.

WIU Mourns Death of LEJA Faculty Member
MACOMB, IL -- Andy Taylor, an adjunct faculty member in the Western Illinois University School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration and Macomb Fire Department chief, passed away Sept. 29 in Macomb.
Taylor, who earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from WIU, had taught in the department since Fall 2014. Taylor was a 20-year veteran of the Macomb Fire Department. He was appointed fire chief in August 2006.
"We extend our deepest sympathies to the Taylor family, his friends and colleagues and the City of Macomb," said WIU President Jack Thomas.
Arrangements are pending at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home.
