Women's Art Exhibit Meet the Artists Reception

MACOMB, IL – The public is invited to a reception for the Women's Art Women's Vision 2015 exhibit from 3:30-5 p.m. Monday, March 9, on the second floor of the Western Illinois University Multicultural Center.

The reception will provide an opportunity to view the artwork and meet the artists. Refreshments will be provided.

"We sought submissions from female students, staff, faculty and alumni, as well as women from the community, and we have a wonderful variety of works and artists," said Women's Center Director Janine Cavicchia.

The media on display include acrylic on canvas board, acrylic paint, charcoal, digital fractal giclee print on silver paper, mixed media, oil and mixed media, photography, photo on metal, sharpie on Bristol, silk screen and jewelry (cast sterling, sterling and chrysocolla, sterling etch and oxidized).
