Instructor Glen Schwartz is a 27 year veteran with the Illinois State Police.  He has performed the job and held the rank as a Trooper, Special Agent. Sergeant, Master Sergeant, Lieutenant, and retired as a District Commander of District's 14 and 20.  He spent the majority of his career in the division of criminal investigation, Zone 4, in a narcotics task force and general criminal units.
 
Instructor Schwartz received his Masters Degree from the University of Illinois and is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville.  He is also a US Navy Veteran.
 
Instructor Schwartz has taught criminal Investigations at WIU since 2011 and currently holds the position of Internship Coordinator.
