Title IX Regulations
Following the Department of Education's publication of final regulations under Title IX, Western Illinois University has a new, updated Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual MIsconduct Policy , effective August 14, 2020.
The University will continue to provide confidential advisors, supportive measures, and resources to all parties involved in harassment and discrimination complaints. Our community will always have our support during these difficult times.
The federal regulations will change the process of investigative procedures markedly for our students and employees, so we will be providing additional information such as FAQs and visual aids to help parties in a complaint navigate the process. If you need any assistance with our resources, please contact our office.
We will continue to update this page with any changes that may affect the complaint process. Please remember that our commitment to ending discrimination and harassment on our campus remains.
