Financial Aid Compliance Specialist

- Responsibilities:
A Financial Aid Specialist typically:
- Ensures Financial Aid and the University adheres to federal, state and institutional rules, regulations and procedures.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures for the department of Financial aid in coordination with administrators and University legal counsel.
- Ensures Financial Aid follows record retention policies and best practices.
- Serves as liaison with internal and external parties regarding Financial Aid operation.
- Solves complex issues that requires research and analysis.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, humanities, social sciences, or a closely related field to the position.
- One (1) year (12 months) of professional experience working in student services, financial aid/loans or a closely related field within higher education or a related agency.
**NOTE: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.
- Starting Salary: $4,206/month
