  • Responsibilities:

    A Database/Marketing/Technical Program Coordinator typically:

    1. Oversees the distribution of emails, collection, and maintenance of electronic and paper files            related to all criminal background checks, CANTS check, and sex offender registry checks according to Illinois State Police security protocol                                                                                             
    2. Provides technical assistance for credential application completion and documentation required
    3. Coordinates website development/maintenance
    4. Provides technical assistance to providers 
    5. Processes incoming mail, enters new applicants and maintains updates and notifications for  renewing applicants in database
    6. Oversees the processing and data entry of DCFS Child Abuse and Neglect Tracking System information
    7. Coordinates the creation, development, editing, revision, and posting of multimedia presentations for website with Television Services
    8. Coordinates/distributes newsletter
    9. Coordinates the development, maintenance, and reporting of survey results to Project Director, Co-Director, and Fiscal Agent
    10. Attends Criminal History Symposium
    11. Coordinates and maintains Core Knowledge database and assists with syllabi review
    12. Coordinates with IDHS to revise and update credential enrollment and evaluator applications
    13. Coordinates the development and distribution of public awareness materials
  • Required Qualifications:

    CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER:

    1. A Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
    2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a technical capacity to meet the scope of the IDHS grant for Early Intervention
    3. Possession of a valid Illinois driver’s license

    *Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1 year) of work experience.

  • Starting Salary: $3,052/month
