Email: HL-Elbe@wiu.edu Heidi Elbe, M.S. CCC/SLP joined the WIU CSD faculty in the fall of 2016. Mrs. Elbe teaches the undergraduate courses Introduction to Neurology, Acquired Disorders, and Clinical Methods. Mrs. Elbe also supervises student clinicians for on-campus clinic and at the Elms, a local long-term care facility. Before coming to WIU, Mrs. Elbe practiced as a speech-language pathologist for 13 years. She worked mainly at a hospital providing services for inpatient, outpatient, and home health. Also, she has experience with long-term care and schools. Mrs. Elbe received her Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Illinois University in 2001 and 2003 respectively. Education
