WIU Cellobration

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Western Illinois University's Cellobration on Saturday, September 30! Join us for a full cello day of cello ensemble rehearsals, concert, and masterclass with the renowned Parrish Cello Trio. The day will conclude with all of the students, teachers, and faculty joining together for a cello ensemble performance. Open to cellists and teachers of all ages!

Application Details

• Deadline to Apply: Saturday, September 23, 2023
• Applications after the deadline will only be considered if space is available.
• Students who are interested in performing in a masterclass must submit an audio or video recording of their playing.

Travel Details

Participants traveling from the Chicago area may take Amtrak in the morning and return in the evening.

Masterclass Details

Based on the application submission, a few advanced students will be selected to perform in the masterclass.

Concert Details

Concert attire is all black. All participating students and teachers will join the WIU Cellobration Ensemble for the concert.
