Mission

The Western Illinois University Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts supports the academic mission and programs in the WIU College of Fine Arts and Communication. It will also serve as a cultural and performing arts destination for the campus community, the City of Macomb, and the entire Western Illinois region.

Governor J.B. Pritzker, Deputy Governor for Education Martin Torres, the General Assembly, the Capital Development Board and WIU announced Friday, Oct. 7, 2022 the release of the funds for the Center for Performing Arts at Western Illinois University.

College of Fine Arts and Communication Dean Billy Clow expresses what the Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts means to WIU, COFAC, and west central Illinois.
