College of Fine Arts and Communication
COFAC Behind the Scenes
Artists create no matter the circumstances. Our community knows no boundaries. Our artists continue to find new ways to express themselves and apply what they have learned. The College of Fine Arts and Communication has always held a special connection with our community, sharing what we do. In order to keep that connect, we want to share some examples of our work. We will return to the stage, the dance floor, the shop, the easel, the practice room, the recital hall. Until we do, please know the faculty and students in the College of Fine Arts and Communication are working on their crafts. We look forward to the future, when our community enthusiastically welcomes them back.

“Stay at Home” This started out as an assignment and I thought what better way than to relay a message we are all currently be being bombarded with. I am simply relaying a PSA that should be passed on. It was a lot of fun to make. Stay safe! Stay home! – Vanessa Coleman
Vanessa also opened an Etsy shop, the Portrait Project, where she created custom graphic silhouettes and watercolor paintings of pets.
