ROTC Cadets from eight Illinois universities will compete in the ROTC Ranger Challenge Competition. This competition is a challenging, team oriented event that requires teams of cadets to complete physical challenges and Soldier tasks to enhance their leader development and boost esprit de corps. The team that preforms the best will be selected to compete in the brigade level completion. WIU ROTC will host teams from University of Chicago, Illinois State University, Western Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, Wheaton College, Loyola University-Chicago, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Eastern Illinois University. University students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to observe the competition and cheer on our WIU Cadets.
