In a globalized and ever-changing world, students need to be prepared to identify, analyze and problem-solve change, conflict, and diverse relationships. Students pursuing a sociology and/or anthropology degree learn transferrable skills that are essential in contemporary careers as well as for graduate study. Our students will be provided opportunities to demonstrate their mastery of these proficiencies through application in local/regional/national/global contexts as engaged citizens.

Our B.A. in Sociology and B.A. in Anthropology are offered on the Macomb campus and fully online - the only online Anthropology and Sociology programs at an Illinois public university.
