Our Alumni

WIU Alumni

Western Illinois University alumni from Quad Cities, Macomb, and online enrich our Quad Cities and west central Illinois region. Western’s academic programs catapult our graduates into impactful careers that contribute to the workforce and influence positive change in our communities, schools, organizations, businesses, industry, agencies, and more.

Western maintains a commitment to lifelong engagement with alumni by creating opportunities to network, connect with current students, and to stay in touch with faculty mentors and friends. The WIU Alumni office provides information and resources through social networking, events in the Quad Cities area and across the country, and by sharing alumni stories. Western’s connection to alumni creates academic and career pathways for current students including internships, experiential learning, employment opportunities, and full-time careers. A number of WIU alumni serve on various university advisory councils and share insight about workforce and educational needs of employers, while creating exciting and innovative opportunities that inspire students to achieve their goals.
