WIU School of Music presents Marching Band Classic Saturday, October 24 Noon-9pm at Hanson Field.  This field competition features area high school marching bands. 

WIU Symphony Orchestra Halloween Concert

Halloween Concert

Don’t miss the WIU Symphony Orchestra Halloween Concert Thursday, October 29 at 6:30pm in the COFAC Recital Hall.  Enjoy songs from Jurassic Park:  The Lost World, performed by costumed performers.  Children are encouraged to wear their costumes and participate in a costume parade.  Candy is given out to children at the conclusion of the concert.

Commodores

Commodores

The “Commodores”, the United States Navy Band’s Premier Jazz Ensemble from Washington D.C., will present a free concert at Fellheimer Auditorium at Macomb High School on November 5 at 7:30pm.  While the concert is free, tickets are required.  Tickets are available at the Hainline Theatre Box Office and the Macomb Area Convention and Visitors Bureau at 201 S. Lafayette.  Any unclaimed seats will be available to non-ticket holders prior to the concert.  The performance is sponsored by Western Illinois University Jazz, Macomb High School Bands, WIU College of Fine Arts  and Communication, and the Macomb Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
