Student LifeStudent Loan Grace Period ExpiringIf you graduated this May, the six-month grace period on your federal direct loans will most likely be expiring in November. Now is the time to make contact with your loan servicers to make sure your repayment plan is in place, and works with your budget. If your job search has extended beyond the summer, there are options to continue a deferment as well. Federal Direct Loan servicer information can be found online at: www.nslds.ed.gov. The WIU Financial Aid Office is also available to help you with contact information for servicers, repayment options, and plans for those pursuing additional education.
