Bachelor of Arts in General Studies Interdisciplinary Studies ProgramThe Bachelor of Arts in General Studies (BGS) program is gearing up for another busy year! This fall, BGS staff will officially be assisting individuals majoring in the Interdisciplinary Studies Program (ISP). ISP offers creative alternatives for students interested in emerging fields of study and, more generally, for students whose academic needs and interests do not conform to the traditional major. Interdisciplinary Studies degree options include Concentrations of study in Youth Development and Renewable Energy: Wind Technology, Biofuels Technology, and Policy, Planning and Management. In addition, this degree offers a student designed cross-disciplinary academic plan of study that challenges students to take an active role in creating a coherent educational curriculum by deliberate planning and decision making in regard to their educational experience.
