- *Preview Performance* of the 59th Annual Wind Ensemble President's Concert - Dr. Mike Fansler, conductor and Dr. Matt Thomas, guest conductor

- Location: COFAC Recital Hall
- Description: This performance, dedicated to Dean William “Billy” Clow, will include the repertoire that the WIU Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Mike Fansler, will perform during its debut at Carnegie Hall on Friday, May 23, 2025. The special performance in May will also include Stravinsky’s Concerto for Piano and Winds, featuring WIU faculty pianist Dr. Po-Chuan Chiang.
This landmark event in New York City, presented in collaboration with the WIU Alumni Association, will serve as the 59th Annual President's Concert and will welcome many distinguished guests including WIU President Kristi Mindrup, Macomb Mayor Mike Inman, and numerous WIU alumni and supporters.
