Silvis, IL - Description: Western Illinois University Athletics will host the 2025 WIU Intercollegiate at TPC Deere Run on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5. All WIU alumni and supporters are invited to a special reception on April 3 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at TPC Deere Run. In addition, we also have volunteer opportunities available for the tournament.
Reception attendees will have a chance to meet the WIU golf teams, hear from WIU President Kristi Mindrup `00 and Athletic Director Paul Bubb, and enjoy light appetizers. A cash bar will also be available (pay with cash or card).
Then on Friday and Saturday, the tournament will feature WIU’s men’s and women’s golf teams, along with other teams from around the country, competing on one of the premier golf courses in the Midwest.
Additionally, local high school golf teams are invited to attend the tournament on Saturday, April 5. The WIU Intercollegiate event offers young athletes a unique opportunity to observe high-level play and engage with collegiate golfers.
