Rock Island County Health Department to Offer Flu Vaccinations for WIU Faculty and Staff

MOLINE, IL – With flu season quickly approaching, Western Illinois University faculty and staff are encouraged to protect themselves by receiving their flu vaccinations. The Rock Island County Health Department will be on campus from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 3, in Riverfront Hall, Room 212, to administer flu shots.
Employees are asked to bring their health insurance cards to the event. If you do not have insurance, the cost of the flu shot will be $35.00.
"Flu vaccinations are an important step in keeping our campus community healthy throughout the flu season," said a representative from WIU. "We're pleased to work with the Rock Island County Health Department to make this service available and convenient for our employees."
