Erich Westphal Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Former Western Illinois University Office of Public Safety Officer Erich Westphal passed away Sunday, April 25.
A visitation with his family will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at Jones Mortuary in Colchester. Cremation rites will be accorded and private graveside services will be held at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester at a later date. A celebration of life will be hosted in Williamsville, IL at a later date.
Westphal worked at OPS from Sept. 1975-Nov. 1978, before becoming a deputy with the Fulton County Sheriff's Department and then the Illinois State Police, where he retired as a master sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Keri Guilinger and Melissa Westphal; sister, Martha; and grandchildren, Maddi and Adam Guilinger.
