Men's Soccer Wins vs Central Arkansas
The Western Illinois men's soccer team notched its second win of the season this weekend, bringing their overall record to 2-5-0.
Despite being out-shot 15 to 12, the Leathernecks held on to get a 3-1 victory. Goalkeeper Andrew Ryan recorded seven saves in the second half, including a game saving stop in the 52nd minute to preserve a 2-1 lead.
This was Western's second win out of the last three games but the loss was Central Arkansas' fourth straight.
The Leathernecks kick off conference play on October 3rd against the University of Missouri-Kansas City
