"I'm Lovin' It"
On Wednesday, Sept. 30th McDonald's USA Senior Marketing Director Carol Koepke is scheduled to present "Brand McDonald's- Marketing in Extraordinary Times." The event will be held in the University Union's Grand Ballroom and is scheduled to take place at 2pm.
Sponsored by WIU's College of Business and Technology, Koepke will discuss the fundamentals of McDonald's marketing strategy. She will explain how the company's "Plan to Win" helped re-establish the brand's name and overall business. She will also discuss how McDonald's went "back to the basics" in order to successfully guide itself into the future.
According to wiu.edu, "Koepke is responsible for leading and developing strategic direction and marketing promotions for more than 14,000 McDonald's restaurants in the United States."
Her presentation is free and open to the public. All students and faculty are encouraged to attend.
