Cool temperatures could make this year one of the longest harvests in history. With temperatures continuing to be cool, harvest may not be in full swing until mid-October.

 

Experts are saying that only a handful of farmers have begun to harvest their corn, and even fewer have started on soybeans. The up-and-down weather is the primary reason for the long harvest.
