WIU Mobile puts the Western Illinois Macomb campus at your fingertips!
WIU now offers the ability to view important campus resources and plan your time on campus directly from your mobile device using WIU Mobile, a free mobile application for Apple iOS and Android devices.
With WIU Mobile, you can view an interactive campus map, get up to date news and events, check out dining facilities and daily menus, access computer lab workstation availability, and have direct access to support information on campus.

Below is a list of features included in the WIU Mobile application.
View an interactive map of the Macomb campus including buildings, blue light emergency call boxes, computer labs, dining halls, parking lots, and sports facilities. In addition, you can search for a campus building or enable GPS to find your current location.
Get the latest campus news highlights and detailed news information delivered directly to your mobile device.
Know what’s going on at WIU by viewing upcoming events. Customize the events you received by choosing from over forty event-category feeds organized by topic of interest.
See what the dining halls are serving for breakfast, lunch, or dinner right from your mobile device. In addition, select an item from the list to view complete nutritional information. Also available are hours of operation of other dining facilities on campus.
View up to the minute workstation availability in all University Technology computer labs on campus. Each computer lab provides the location, number of workstations available, number of workstations in use, and the ability to pinpoint the location of the lab on the campus map.
Get instant access to support services on campus or in the Macomb area. Tap to call or add them as contacts in your phone.
Have your WIU email, calendars, and contacts at your fingertips with the click of a button (eCom authentication is required).

About the Developers
WIU Mobile is designed by a development team within the Center for the Application of Information Technologies (CAIT) in collaboration with University Technology (uTech), WIU GIS Center, and Web Services.
CAIT, a center in the University Technology (uTech) division at Western Illinois University, provides innovative and practical technology solutions (web applications, mobile technology), technical consulting, and sound e-learning on campus as well as to external clients such as state agencies, educational institutions, businesses, and public agencies.
