The Guest Speakers are:
Dr. Eric Neumann - New Zealand
From Illinois to New Zealand, Dr. Neumann is the owner of Epi-Insight Limited, an epidemiology consulting firm. With over 25 years of experience, he specializes in biosecurity, animal health, risk assessment, and public policy related to animal disease management.
Dr. Andrea Venturi - Italy
From the fields of Italy to the forefront of agricultural research, Dr. Venturi brings a passion for sustainability and a deep understanding of nature’s delicate balance. He is a research agronomist at Western Illinois University focused on feeding the world without overexploiting the environment.
Day Hughes - Anguilla
Day is an Agricultural Science teacher at the secondary school level in Anguilla with expertise in poultry production. While not from a farming background, Day studied agriculture in high school and currently attends Western Illinois University majoring in agriculture education.
Branden McCallum - Costa Rica
Working on his family farm in Nokomis, Illinois, and promoting conservation as a CRP Program Specialist for the Farm Service Agency, Branden is deeply rooted in agriculture. He was selected for the 2024 Ag Industry Tour in Costa Rica, hosted by the Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leaders.
Dr. Graciela Andrango - Ecuador
Originally from Ecuador, Dr. Andrango brings a unique global perspective to the field of agriculture as an Agriculture Business Professor at Western Illinois University.
