Macomb, IL 61455 - Description: The WIU Agronomy Field Day will be held on Thursday, August 4 at 10 a.m. Guided plot tours will begin from the Agronomy Shed (285 Ember Rd). The tour will last approximately 2 hours and will feature weed management research being conducted at WIU, including new or improved herbicides and herbicide combinations, ideas for incorporating pennycress as a crop between corn and soybean, and integrated weed management strategies. The Agronomy Field Day is free and open to the public.
