Atlantis is the only transatlantic degree program of its kind. Students from Western Illinois University live and study in France, Sweden, and the U.S. to obtain 3 degrees in 4 years. They spend their 3rd year at INSEEC in Lyon, France and Linköping University in Sweden. Upon successful completion of their studies in Europe, eligible students can obtain a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from INSEEC and a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business Administration from Linköping University. Their fourth year is spent at their home institution in the U.S. where they obtain a bachelor's degree or an MBA degree.
Students save an entire year of educational expenses. WIU applies financial aid toward tuition, fees and other costs during their year overseas. Scholarships are also available through the Office of Study Abroad and Outreach.
