- Panel Discussion with Covid-19 Front Line Healthcare Professionals featuring WIU School of Nursing Alumni: A Purple & Gold Day of Caring "Reboot."

- Description: It's hard to believe it has been six months since eight of our alumni shared their stories and heartfelt emotions regarding Covid-19 and what it is like to be on the front line. Our virtual panel via Zoom will feature (in alpha order): three alumni back from our April panel, Jacob Ginglen '10 '12, Kendra Moore '16 and Kailyn Morrell '18, and three additional alumni, Eric Carrera '20, Michaela Leapley '20 and Brittaney Castleberry '16. The panel will be moderated by WIU School of Nursing’s Lindsay White MSN, RN, CNE. Their experiences come from around the country (in alpha order): Saint Louis Neuro ICU, Davenport ICU, Mercy Health, New York and Arizona COVID Units, a regional COVID Unit and traveling nurse currently in Indiana on an orthopedic medical surgery floor.
