- Kristyne Gilbert Bradford: Fiber and Technical Communication
- Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
- Location: Malpass Library, Room 180 (bottom level)
- Description: Kristyne Gilbert Bradford, a Graduate Student with the Department of English and Journalism, will present "Fiber and Technical Communication" on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Noon in the Leslie F. Malpass Library, Room 180.
Kristyne’s presentation describes her thesis project which explores the relationship between creative processes and the communication that takes place during the manipulation of textiles. The word “art” invokes the culture to act imaginatively or creatively through a variety of mediums. As artwork is produced for private and public consumption, there are opportunities to explore the communication that occurs between fiber artists, their work, and the public. After the presentation, there will be time for discussion.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch. For more information, contact Tammy Sayles at (309) 298-3298.
