Join us Saturday afternoon, February 23, from 4:30 to 6:30, for our famous Wine Tasting and then go cheer Leatherneck Men’s Basketball as they play the ESPN Bracket Buster game at 7:00 PM in Western Hall.
Wine Tasting attendees will receive a FREE General Admission ticket courtesy of Intercollegiate Athletics.
The PAS Wine Tasting is sponsored by Citizens Bank, Macomb, a division of Morton Community Bank.
Bring your friends and enjoy live jazz, sample over 60 excellent wines chosen just for the occasion, nibble delicious hors d'oeuvres, and bid on some fabulous wine-themed Silent Auction items.
Reservations are $40. There is also a $20 non-alcoholic reservation for those who like the company but not the wine or for the designated driver.
For tickets, call the College of Fine Arts and Communication at 309. 298.1618. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
The Wine Tasting features wines from all over the world. The wines are chosen for their high quality and prices. Wines vary in price from under $10 to over $100 per bottle.
There is something for everyone and you get to taste before you buy. And you can buy at the Wine Tasting! Fill out an order form at the event and most wines will be delivered to our two local participating distributors—HyVee Liquors and West Pierce Liquors—within a week of the Tasting. Be sure to check the Performing Arts Society website for the wine program so you can study ahead of time.
Leatherneck Casual attire this year and valet parking will be available at the Union's Murray Street entrance.
The Performing Arts Society includes community and University volunteers who, as patrons of the arts, are dedicated to advancing arts programming. PAS raises funds through memberships and social fundraising functions to support arts programming though Western's College of Fine Arts and Communication, including the Youth Performing Arts Series (YPAS) and the BCA.
