- Grant Writing Series: Session 2 - How Do You Convince Them to Fund You?

- Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Location: Malpass Library, Room 180
- Description: Grant Writing 101. This four-part series on grant writing will result in a knowledge base sufficient to submit state, national, and foundation-level proposals for funding. With a career total of over 2 million dollars in competitive grants, Donna will share ideas, tips, and basic grant writing knowledge. Working in a unique genre, participants will leave with increased confidence in their ability to competitively write for needed research and teaching dollars. Taken as an entire series or as individual sections that you feel need strengthened, the time will be well spent. Upon completion of the entire series, participants will receive a certificate of completion. This session focuses on three important pieces of information: the needs assessment, collaboration, and the parts of the request for application or the request for funding.
